StepsTone Studio opened November 1st, 2006 after the owner, Jason Ford, decided to build a new studio based on the demand of musicians at HB Studios. Jason began recording in 1999 under JFord Productions and teamed up with producer/songwriter Dan Diaz to form HB studios in late 2003. Their success and understanding of the art of recording and the San Diego music scene has grown tremendously over the years and has led them to create a studio environment with professional gear, amazing sound, and a comfortable atmosphere-now called StepsTone Studio. Their rates are very reasonable, and they stand behind their commitment to ensuring a quality final product.
"StepsTone Studio is literally a stepping stone for artists who want to get their sound out there for an affordable price, whether it is demo or album quality."
-Owner, Jason Ford
